Instead of Saturday, July 3rd ( and Monday, July 5th) we have our next Shop´s open times on Saturday, July 10th ( Monday, July 12th).
We always try to improve our products. So we took over a technique of our costumer and good modeller (!!!) Herrn Friedel-Treptow. When building our corrugated skin Classic Plane kits (Junkers, Ford AT), he used self-made painting masks instead of the decal sheets. Although we use very thinn decal sheets, it is not simple to fix them into the corrugated surfaces. So we will add prepared painting masks to our next Classic Plane Mixed Kits (Junkers G.24 Luftwaffe Lipetzk / G 24 D 901 & D 903 Pekingflug / G.24fe, late streamlined engined / F.13 Ambulanz / F.13...) in addition to our usual thinn decal sheets. If it´s successful, we will offer also painting masks for our older Junkers Classic Plane Mixed Kits ( Junkers, Ford AT-5...). The nice builded Classic Plane Kits of Herrn Friedel-Treptow, Rico Christmann and others, you will find on www.modellversium.de For example: |

Some Notes to our Shop´s Opening times and delivery times of Mail orders:
Mailorder costumers please note:
Additionally our Suppliers can work at moment only under big restrictions. So for some parts, like Decals, Boxarts, construction guides, etc., we have to wait for a week or so, we normally receive within hours. Additionally, all smaller shipments to overseas goes now by ship instead of air transport.
Many thanks for your understanding! |

From early next week we also start again our mail order service - a lot of requests / orders has pented-up! |

After 25 Years, we will close our Local Shop in Essen close to the end of June !
This was a hard decision after a long fight, because we prefer the direct contact to our costumer.
As a consequence we give up our local shop and will move to a bigger storage / workshop end of June. We will now find more time for our own range. Since many years we have completed or started mastermodels for new kits, but couldn´t find time to produce the kits . It was already frustrating to see, when other companies realised "our" projects. So, look forward to a lot of more new and re-released Classic Plane-/ Luedemann Kits ! Because all these changes, we have not yet made our new website, as announced before - we will do it close to our moving / changes. What are the changes for our Mailorder- and shop-costumers?
Costumers are still invited to visit us in our new rooms - we will still offer a wide range of kits, but the open hours will be reduced.
More details later and the latest new releases we will publish in about two weeks ! |

22.12.2016 |
Since our latest Update a longer time has passed again... Some of the mentioned News are no more very brandnew – other brand news we received today and they are not included yet ! Under this Web adress a totally new homepage is under construction, in accordance to all actual requirements and wich allows to actualise and change some contents by myself. In my case ( as a "computer-grump") training / practice takes some times – also some health problems delays this matter, but within January the new page will be online. Unfortunately, when we took over all things from the former web designer, the news-info mailadresses went lost. Fo get informed about any changes / news on our new website, please send us a short mail and we will register you. As mentioned before, mid 2016 some emails were lost on our email server. If your request / order is still current, please send your request again. |

15.12.2015 |
Also in this outrunning year we could not fullfill all our plans and ideas – due to some unconrollable circumstances, like sickness and a waterpipe-burst above the office,... Our local shop was still in our main focus and we were able to keep the shop open and to offer all actual new releasesd right in time. So the now published News informations are not always new for our mail order costumers, but shows, we were very buisy... Unfortunately, a very competent friend has changed his main profession. So he is no more able, to keep our shop open, when we take part in model shows or are travelling. So, when you come from more far away, please check out our website or contact us by phone ++201500912 ( or our 24-hr-answerphone) to know, if there is any change in our open hours. Mailorder: Also I have to follow the common trend and have to take more attention to online selling, because most of my costumers are too far away, to visit my shop. Therefore, we will recontruct our website in early 2016 (exact date not known yet), to make it more simple for foreign costumers to order (and more simple for me to handle it). If there will be any communication problems in this transitional period, keep in mind: our emailadress (kit-studio@t-online) and phone/anserphone (+49 201500912) will be still in service. Local Shop: Although not each of our mailorder customers can visit our shop, but some use the chance to come, when they visit Germany or have a stop at the very close Dusseldorf airport. They always find a lot of rare things, they searched for a long time – I am happy with them. So following translation of my german message don´t affects them, but should be intrested to know, because it affects my mailorder service – here a summary: Also in the future we will keep up our local shop, because we appriciate the direct contact to our costumers for exchange of news and tipps and hints. We will give them a chance to grup as in the „good old times“ and to check out some kits closer. But when no costumer is in, I use the time to work on my own kit range , to answer Emails or to prepare shipments. No problem, when a visitor cannot find the kit he is serching for or when he only want to get informations about our beautifull hobby – no one MUST buy something. But some guys only come, to steel my time, talking nonsens and tell me, what they already bought in internet. After opening every box, to check out the kit they want to buy in internet, they leave the shop with empty hands ( few of them try to steel – so I have spend my time to keep an eye on them...) This time I loose to serve my mailorder costumers. So, if you only come to need anyone who listen to you – because the basket of your favoured ebay-/ Internetshop do not listen to you: Please go to any social institution – they get taxpayers´ money for it, but I have to pay taxes and money to maintance my shop. So I have to make money with my shop... |

Dear Customer / Modeller, once again, we have to apologise for this late published actual news informations – but, as you can see, I was not inactive. Although sickness and private matters were to manage, a lot of exotic new kits were obtained . In our Classic Plane- and Luedemann range we also issued a lot of new kits and re-issued some older, for long time out- of-stock kits – now in better quality. We also prepared re-issuring for some more out-of-production Luedemann kits (therefore, check out our website from time-to-time). As announed before , we reduce our participation on model shows, but on Saturday, Oct./ 25th we take part at the Euro Scale Modelling of IPMS Nederland at Nieuwegein. You will find us in Hall 1 at the Balcony. Unfortunately, in the time of preparing the show, they were some problems /misunderstandings. So out participation was not sure. We planned some new Issues especially for the show ( Pander S-4 Postjager, Fokker F.III, Lockheed P-2 Neptune ,Gun Nose , Marineluchtvaartdienst), but instead of this, we prefer to make some other kits first. However, these kits will be available shortly after the show from us via mail ordering, or from Luchtvaart Hobby Shop / Aviation Megastore, Schipol. Also because our participation on this show, the shop open hours has changed in October: Wednesday, 14th to Saturday, 18th the shop is closed, also on Friday, 24th and Saturday, 25th ! |
|
26.07.2014 |
After the modelshow season, we had to re-produce a lot of sold-out Classic Plane-/Luedemann kits. Also other important, pushed down works, like bookkeeping and some private repairs/renovations, had to be done. So we did not find time yet, to update our website. In case of the new entries, we only published our own Classic-Plane products. After end of our vacation ( August, 8th), we will publish the complete list of new entries and will also update the antiquated Classic Plane / Luedemann list. Within the modelshow season, we lost some Email orders, -request. If you did not heard from us, please try it again. |

As mentioned on our welcome page in german, we take part on a model show at Luebeck on April, 25th and 26th.. This will be our last model show for a longer time ! When we prepared our spring model shows, we also prepared new and re-released CLASSIC PLANE and Luedemann kits. So unfortunately, we had not enough time, to answer inquiries by email and to send out mail orders right in time - for thios I want to apologise ! From end of April on, we use the time, we save by reducing the modelshows, to send out all backed-up mail orders, to answer all mail inquiries and to actualise our website. 18.12.2013 |
After last update of May this year, following update and News infos, published at the same time, is more than overdue. As regular customers will know, all listed news of our suppliers are available shortly after release. After this long break, we have to notify a lot of news: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking back to the ending year 2013, unfortunately not all things runs as planned. Something came too short again: The wqebsite was not updated regulary / often enough. Emails could not be answered right in time. Announced new/rereleased Classic Plane-/ Luedemann kits did not came right in time. In any case, please keep in mind: MODELLBAUSTUDIO RHEIN-RUHR is worldwide unique, as far as we know. Although we often use the definition „we“: With the exception of temporary staff of my son and of a good friend on model shows and as substitution in the local shop, nearly all things I do by myself: Master modeling (exception: Luedemann, some scratchbuildings, taken over from a few customer), Casting resin parts (nearly completely, since Luedemann had to retired), Bookkeeping, paperworks, Purchasing, Selling (Mail order, model shows, local shop), A lot of private things came too short in the past – this year we had to fix some important repairings and renovations (or do you like it, when your wifes always makes trouble, when the dishwasher machine don´t works since about a year ?). Additionally, some silicon moulds of actual offered Resin kits were broken and had to be new produced. So we had only a very few time for any new announced kits. When I had my 60th birthday recently, I resiled for some hours into my mastermodel / mould store and found, I have to become 130 years old, to produce all my completed and started (or taken over from Luedemann) masters as model kits. It´s also frustrating for me to see, when other producers releases types of models, I already have prepared with great consuming in time. A lot of these works were interrupted at any time, when I could not found some important detail informations or when they were wrong, or when I found, other projects were more important. So, for 2014 I came over to release some more important kits, but to cancel others. Unfortunately, also my day has only 24 hours and I´m no more willing to spend a nightshift or a Sunday for work. So I have to reorganize some working procedures: For 2014 we will reduce our participation on model shows – only three are planned for coming spring: Hoboken/Antwerp, Lübeck and Heiden. We still have planned to keep our local shop, since more modelers found back the the „good old fashioned“ model shop. The time we win by reducing our model show participations we will use to improve our internet presentation and to serve much better and faster our internet/ mailorder customers. At moment I prepare a new catalog list for ClassicPlane- and Luedemann kits and also a new picture gallery. If you cannot see it now, please check out this website within the next few days. Twitter/Facebook: Some customers invited me to take part in social networks like Twitter/Facebook – many thanks for, but ( as shown above, because my very short time and lots of activities I can only communicaste via Website/Email, phone, fax and common conversation in my shop and on model shows for the next time. I´m looking forward in our cooperation in 2014 ! Detlef Schorsch, Modellbaustudio Rhein-Ruhr |

14.12.2012 |
In the time between Christmas and New Year we will keep the shop open hours as usual as possible. The Year 2012 were full of unexpected surprises for us. In the first month, when the spring model shows started, I had to go to hospital for a surgical intervention, between two model shows. So some announced new releases in our Luedemann - / Classic Plane line were not ready right in time. When the shows were over and I felt better, I was seriously injured by a traffic accident. Until October my eyesight was very restricted because a double-vision, so my activities were very restricted. Many thanks to my son and a good friend, who kept the shop running. Also many thanks to my costumers, who had a lot of patience in waiting for their ordered, prepaid kits ! Since my eyesight is much better (but not totally recovered yet) I do my best to catch up all hangover works, like producing new and reissued kits. I used the “break” to think about improving of some operational procedures and tried to realise. Also our cooperation with some suppliers we “reworked”. So we hope, to avoid price increases and to improve our quality. I hope, my demand in hospital detentions is fulfilled for the next time (although I have to go to hospital in January/February, when metal plates and screws will be removed from my scull). So hopefully I can produce the overdue new announcements. Some times ago, we took over the still existing remaining rubber moulds and masters of all Luedemann kits. Mr. Luedemann was (and still is) an excellent master builder, but, like most other genies also a „little messy”. So most masters and moulds, we took over were not signed, marked and assorted. I had to use my “break” also, to assort all of them (Mr. Luedemann was a big help, he still has nearly all details of his kits in his mind). Therefore, I had to make sample castings, to know, which mould belongs to which Luedemann kit. On this occasion, we found some complete sets of moulds (Kalinin K-12, for example), but also incomplete masters, we have to complete within the next time, to offer them again. The rates and terms of some package services are simplified , so have now more attractive shipping terms and rates for our foreign customers. Also the minimum order value we could reduce to the german limit of 15,00 Euro. Look at the new shipping terms ! We also go ahead with our picture gallery. Primarily we have planned to prepare it completely, but we now see, it’s a work without end, especially since a lot of pictures went lost by computer-/ storage discs. Ready are following CLASSIC PLANE-/ Luedemann - galleries: Hispano Aviation/ Me 109, Junkers Ju 287 / EF 131 – 140, On the latest Belgian IPMS Show in October 2012 at Afflingem a big quantity of the exhibited models were from our CLASSIC PLANE - / Luedemannrange !!! See these pictures also in our gallery. Following galleries will follow soon: Pilatus PC.6 – range, Extra 300 – range, ….and more… Very shortly we will also actualise our Luedemann- und Classic Plane cataloge lists. Register for the newsletter without commitment, to be informed about any changes of our website. |

06.05.2012 |
After the very stressfull, but successful spring-modelshows ( incl. hospitalization between) I am earning a short vacation. So, office- and shipping works are resting between May 7th and May 16th. In this time, our local shop runs as usual. |
|
21.12.2011 |
In the out-running year 2011, unfortunately we were not able to deliver all announced new and re-released kits of our Classic Plane-/ Luedemann-range. On one side, we had to spend more time for office-/ administration works than expected, on the other side, we spend more time in operating our local shop - a positive development for us, since a lot of costumers wants to buy in our shop again, after bad expieriences with online shopping . We also had a cick back, when we lost some electronic datas again. So we lost a major part of our completed Artworks of guides, Boxarts and decals of our new kits. We are just preparing it again and are confident, to have most kits ready for the upcoming model show season in spring. The shows will start in March and we will let you know more details in January, when we also will publish our revised (and simplified !) shipping terms and catalog pages. |
|
09.04.2011 |
Due to our participation in some springtime model shows, we were too short in time to actualise our catalouge pages, to update our shipping terms and to answer emails right in time. The shows are gone now and we will be more concentrated in this matters. If you didn´t yet, please sign on for our newsletter, to be up to date with any changes and improvements. |

05.03.2011 |
Most of today´s MRR News are mostly important for our german costumers – informations about our shops open hours within the spring model show season and an obituary of a good friend and costumer . Important also for all international costumers: From January 2011 on, some shipping cahrges has changed a little. After the model shows, we will publish our actual shipping terms and prices. We are also updating our CLASSIC PLANE- and LUEDEMANN- Catalogue. We have a lot of additions – also some prices has changed a little. Until this upcoming update, for all incoming orders, we make individual proforma invoices. |
|
21.12.2010 |
Different to our usual practice, we added some of our Classic Plane new releases, coming out January / February. We are waiting for some small parts from our suppliers. If you have some patience: Pre-orders are welcome. It helps us, to prepare the right quantities of kits (we never prepare the whole quantities – only as much as we expect to need within some weeks or months). In 2010, Essen and the Rhine-Ruhr area were “ European Capital of Culture”. So, the biggest newspapers of this area made an effort to introduce extraordenary companies from Essen. In this line-up, Modellbaustudio Rhein-Ruhr and Classic Plane don´t had to be missed, as one of the last special plastic model shops. The reporter is a pilot and the photograf a collector of engine models. The result was a good researched and written article, reflecting exactly spirit and purpose of our company. It also discribes our hobby plastic modelling very positive. Klick to the picture to read this article Will not translate the whole article, but for those (majority), who cannot read german, here the most important: Headline: The quest for perfection. Detlef Schorsch producing short-range aircraft kits. Customers all over the world. Head picture : Very seldom Detlef Schorsch finds time, to build and paint his own kits. Picture below left: Aircraft short range kits Detlef Schorsch produced in 2-component resin in his local workshop Picture below right: Kits of all producers are stacked up to the roof in D.S.´shop at Krayer Strasse 26 Red sentence in the middle: “I do not write books, but I understand myself as an aircraft historian As announced, in the now ending year, we tried to find bigger and more affordable rooms, to improve our mailorder service and our production, still able to offer the service of a local shop. Some objects fullfilled our demand: Convenient for traffic for our local costumers, clean, bright rooms of double size of our actual rooms by halve price. Commercial spaces like these are very demanded. Here in this country, modelling has not a good reputation ( “Wartoys, kit´s stuff, nonsense,..”) like fashion boutiques or phone shops. So other competitors were preferred. In one case, a contract were promised, dated for October – but I´m still waiting for… - corruption and nepotism are to find not only in the 3rd world! Because the promised contract, we started to pack our workshop, including moulds and masters in boxes – therefore we had a delay in our production. Summarized: We´ve spend/waisted a lot of time for searching – time, we´ve missed in other fields, like producing, mail order service. Therefore we came over to stop searching. Instead of this, we will try to make the best from our actual rooms. To keep us, our “old” renter gave as an additional room, so I´m now able, to continue production. So, for the new year we are looking forward to your visit and to your order and we wish you all the best for the coming new year! |

22.07.2010 |
Unfortunately, we totally forgot to translate our german MRR-News of April, 20th ! These MRR News are not only important for our local shop visitors, they are also Important for our mail order costumers – so we integrate this to our taday´s News: As mentioned before, modeller´s buying behavior has changed within the last few years and internet-, resp. mailorder sales becomes more and more important. Until now, we were most concentrated on our local shop and still believe, this is the best way of selling and buying models, but therefore, we careless negligenced our mailorder costumers. Some emails we answered very late and shipments took very long sometimes. For this I have to make an excuse to our mailorder costumers. To make it better in the future, we have planned to cut down the shop´s open hours, but we didn´t yet. Until we will, we are now more flexible: So, fridays before a model show weekend, maybe we close the shop, to have more time for the show preparation. On other side, we will try to arrange special appointments outside the usual open hours. Foreign custumers or costumers from outside, who are crossing our area and cannot come within usual hours, might be able to visit our shop ( but please only as an exeption to the rule). Before you come from far away, check our website for any changes of open hours. Short term changes we will announce on our answer phone – so call before (aslo for special appointments). About the next future: Until now we are using the same rooms for shop and mailorder and have to remote all the mailorder stuff, when we open for the public. The result: Preparing the mailorders takes longer and sometimes prepared orders become mixed up and has to be assorted new – not very efficient. This is also a reason for cutting down the open hours next time. So we are planning to give up our local shop rooms and are now looking for bigger rooms, enclosing a show room for visitors and a section for serving our mailorder costumers. Here in the Rhein-Ruhr Area, it´s not simple to find the right rooms for reasonalble prices, but we do our best to find the right solution for our visitors and mailorder costumers. Brandnew: Yesterday the owner of our actual rooms offered a better renting contract with additional rooms – we will think about. Will keep you up to date on this website. |

28.12.2009 |
As the years before, we try to keep open our shop at the usual open days: Wednesday, 30.12.09 : 15 - 18 Uhr, Thursday,31.12.09 : 10 - 13 Uhr, Saturday, 2.01.10 : 10 - 15 Uhr, We will take part in following model shows in early 2010: 6. März : Flanders Modelling Festival, IPMS Anterpen, Hoboken, Antwerpen, 6. & 7. März : Modellbauausstellung Flugwerft Schleißheim, 13. & 14. März: Ausstellung des PMC Lübeck, Musik-/Kongresshalle Lübeck, 10. April: Euro Model Expo, Münsterlandhalle, Heiden. Unfortunately, there is a crossover between the shows in Antwerp and Schleissheim, as a few years before between Antwerp and Luebeck. Although very stressfull, we took part at Antwerp show on Saturday and went to Luebeck for Sunday. Our costumers at Luebeck were flexible enough, to make both show successful for us. We will try to do so this year with Antwerp and Schleissheim and would appriciate, if our costumers at Schleissheim would have the same flexibility. More in our next MRR News. As announced before, starting with February, we plan to close our shop on Wednesday. Although we still prefer the personnel contact to our costumer in our local shop, we cannot ignore and neglect the upgrowing number of mailorder costumers-often from foreign countries, who cannot come to our shop. On this occasion, I want to apologise to all these costumers, who had to wait for there email answers and orders. The additional time we obtain on Wednesday, I will use to answer your mails, sending out your orders and to improve and actualise our website. As in the past, we still make special appointments with costumers, who comes from far away or come to our area on their buisness travel, for visiting our local shop. Have a good modelling year in 2010! |
|
22.09.2009 |
Model Shows: Within the next weeks we take part in following model shows: IPMS Belgium, 3rd & 4th October, Wieze, Belgium, IPMS Netherlands, 24th October, Nieuwegein, Netherlands, Although we believe in our local shop and we will continue with it, we came over to close the shop one more day per week, beginning next year. This time we want to use, to intensive our own production and to fullfill our mailorder cosumers wishes much sooner. On this occasion, I want to apologise for any delay in answering your mails and in shipping out your orders. |
|
22.04.2009 |
As announced before, from 22nd to 26th April we take part again at the Intermodellbau Dortmund. In this time, our shop is closed. Our participation at the model shows at Antwerp, Heiden and now Dortmund, took a lot of time of preparation (building up a new stand, pouring more and new resin kits, printing new and reprinting older decal sheets,...). So we had no time within the last weeks, to answer all emails, resp. to shipping out our / your mail orders – to our mail order costumers: please apologise for ! After Dortmund, our model show season will end (The next shows will start in September) –then I will care about all mail orders more intensively ! Altough our website includes all informations about shipping terms, etc, it seems, some costumers has problems (or are to comfortable) to find it out. So we will also overwork our website, to avoid all the lot of unnecessary, time consuming emails. So we have not the time, to answer all those mails – also not all serious mails. However – thinks, all mails/orders I received, are saved and (as far as in stock) all models are reserved for. To accelerate delivery in the future, we will explicate in our very next MRR News, what you can do and what we started to do. |
|
28.02.2009 |
IMPORTANT NOTICE: On the next coming weekend, we take at following model show: March, 7th at Antwerp -Hoboken, Belgium Eventually we also take part at following shows in April: April, 4th at Heiden, April, 22nd to 25th at INTERMODELL Dortmund, (more later) At this weekends (exept Dortmund), our shop is open. Although we still have a big variaty of kits, most of our special short run kits and accessories we take over to the shows. To bring over a big selection of our Classic-Plane – und Luedemann- Kits, within the last four weeks we only carried our shop and produced resin kits. We were so overloaded with this, that we couldn´t find time to handle our mail order service or to answer any emails. Therefore we have to apologise – Maybe following explanations will answere some of your questions, not yet answered by us !!! Our „forced production march“ was worth the trouble. Meanwhile as good as all Classic Plane -/ Luedemann Kits from today back to the 20s to 40s are available again ! Here a few examples: Junkers J1, J2, Ju 60, Ju 160, Ju 90, Ju 390, Me261, Airspeed Envoy – Varianten, Fokker C.I, Heinkel He 70-Varianten, Pulqui II, Haluan Ha-300, Blohm & Voss BV.144 (Neuheit), Messerschmitt M.20 (New)… Some examples in case of WW I-Kits : Sablatning SF.5, Rumpler C.I, Rumpler C.VIII, Rumpler C4-Taube, Jeannin-Stahltaube, Halberstadt CL.II, Halb. CL.IV, AEG C.IV, AEG G.IV, Caproni Ca.3,… A lot of Classic Plane -/ Luedemann kits were constantly available. The rubber moulds were still in good condition and could be used, but after 30 to 60 shots rubber moulds are normally worned out . so constantly we have to renew all moulds. Packing and shipping out the kits make only sense, when a number of kits were made ( as mentioned below, this is NOT a mass production). Whilst production, we had some bad throwbacks (as mentioned in later MRR News). So we returned to old, better connections. So we gave over production of a lot of small parts for our kits to CMR Czechmaster. If necessary, they use a special strong resin, that gives parts like struts, undercarriages more sturdiness. This material is more expensive, that influenced our prices a little. But please don´t be so fussy: Since we are back in resin production, we know: Resin casting is not assembly-line work - It is time-consuming hand-work ! One reason, why resin-casting started in former low-cost countries, like Czechia and Poland. After the first mentioned shows, from March, 8th, we will start to send out all open orders and will also answered all email requests – we will improve our MAIL ORDER SERVICE ! This we already prepared – so we reduced the open hour of our shop, to find more time for our mail order costumers ! In about two weeks, check out our website again. Then you will also find our updated catalog list for Classic Plane and Luedemann, plus actual new incomes from other companies. We will also rework our “shipping terms”. Although we have included all necessary informations about postage prices , alternatives in shipping, wheights, etc.. We always receive a lot of mails with unnecessary questions, that could be cleared, when reading all informations (one reason, why answering mails takes so long). However, we will try to make it more clear. |

Unfortunally, within the last weks and months, we were so engaged with Model Shows (see pictures on new front page) and production of our Classic Plane- and Luedemann line, that we couldn´t find enough time for our mailorder service and for updating our website. Although the new incomes since September are not listed before now, keep in mind: Most products of nearly all big companies and short-range producers we have in stock as soon as they comes out ! The actual status of Classic Plane-/ Luedemann – Production: Today and in the past the bigger part of our Classic Plane Resin production is made by well established companies in Czech Republic and Netherlands, so there is no shortage. As mentioned in MRR News before, some Classic Plane-/ Luedemann kits were “produced” with great failure by a company nearby. After repairing the destroyed, demaged moulds and masters, we start production again, but then we became aware, that some complete assembly groups of the master were missing, resulting an additional delay in production – meanwhile, we replaced all missing parts. We now produced most of the kits by ourselfes, but after 10 hours per day in our shop in our mailorder service, we are totally overloaded in producing the big Luedemann line. So most of the small parts(and some complete kits) we gave over to some other well established companies, but they have also a lot to do. The Czechmaster CMR Kits, we also distribute, you can now check out on following linked website: Czechmaster Here the next model show, we´ll take part on: Flugwerft Oberschleißheim, 28.2. – 1.3.2009 |

As mentioned in our MRR News of 5th April 08, because the sickness of Mr. Luedemann, we had to give away a part of the resin works to a new company ( but most of the Classic Plane Resins / Mixed Kits are produced by reliable companies in Chech Republic and the Netherlands!) As mentioned, we were not satisfied with the results of the new company. The full dimension of the fatal work we became aware, when we got back our silicone moulds and masters: Still new moulds, only used a few times, were totally destroit! To save time, the resin shots were ripped out and pulled out by a big srew driver from the silicone moulds !!! More than this: The unique Master Models, we gave aways for making new silicone moulds, came back broken and without any usefull mould, also some important parts were missing. So we were forced, to cannibalize some kits, we already had sold, to build up new masters. Any legal actions agains the pourer seems to be not successful, it would cost only time and money. On this occasion we want to thank all the patient costumers, who are still waiting of their orders –some of them already prepaid. When building up the new master models, Luedemann improved them on this occasion. He also considered some costumer suggestions. See the pictures on mail page for two examples: In case of the Junkers Ju 90, upper and lower (resp. left and right) halves of wings and tail are now in one piece. The wing roots with inner engine mounting are now in one piece with the fuselage halves, wich make model building much easier. The new master model of the Dornier Do.31 is also much improved! The loading ramp is now separate and the outer vertol engine gondolas are open ( these were ALWAYS open). By the way, also a new master of the Heinkel He 116 is ready . Production will start in September. Price will be EURO 39,98. Most of the Luedemann kits are back now, exept some WW-I kits.Rumpler 4C, Gotha Taube, Halberstadt Taube, Caproni Ca.3, Junkers J.I Blechesel, Junkers J.II, AGO C.II, … are already prepared for production and from other, we still have some stocks (for example: Fokker V.21, Fokker V.25, Aviatik Berg C.I, Albatros C.X, Albatros C.XII, Caudron G.III, Caproni Pensutti, Albatros Dr.I Triplane, ... We will do our best, to bring back the whole range as soon as possible and want to thank all costumers, who are waiting for their order for some times, for their patience. Different to former informations, the open hours of our shop do NOT change whilst vacation time ! In addition to the new entries, we also start to actualise our catalogue page. The CMR Czechmaster page is now aktaualised. Check out our website also next week, then we will have updated also the Classic Plane-, Luedemann- and Mach 2- page. All other will follow soon. When I have my vacation, I will also try to use the time, to rework our picture gallery. We have also reworked our link page. Thanks to Microsoft: Due to the increasing memory requirements of new sofware, we had to purchase a new Computer. When transferring our costumer datas/ mails, some were lost in “bid-space” – orders and requests, deted before April, 15th, we could not supply or answer these mails at this time and we had to set apart. If you are still waiting for any answer of shipment, please contact us again. We will do our best, to conclude this matter. |

Important Luedemann Informations: Parkinson´s disease is diagnostizised at Mr. Luedemann ! Some days he can work well, but other days nothing or only a very few time. So he cannot continue production as necessary. He is now concentrated in making master models for new kits, he promised since a long time. After looking for a long time, we just found a pourer, that took over a part of the production line of the Luedemann- and Classic Plane kits, who were also produced partwhise by Mr. Luedemann. Due to the different manner of production, some of the original moulds cannot be used by the new pourer. So we made / have to make some new moulds. Our experiences with the new producer are mixed: Sometimes we can accept it without any complaint, but sometimes we find 80% wastage. After checking the parts, we have to assort and pack it. When we check out the parts, we also accept small air bubbles, determined by production. We accept, what we ( me and a good modeler friend ) would build by ourselfes. To ensure availability as good as possible, we also took over a part of the production ( some older costumers will know, I started with it about 30 years ago). The background of all this: to be able to offer good (not perfect) unusual kits to affordable prices. It´s not possible, to reissue the Luedemann kits all at once. We started with the most demanded german aircraft of the 1920s to 1940s and todays German Airforce types. A lot of WW.I-kits from old production are still in stock and we will try to complete the line within this year. To decide the order of production, we would appriciate your preorders. The quantity of preorders will influence the outcome. To meet the request of some modellers, we now offer our Classic Plane mixed kit Junkers Ju 390V1. With only one basic Revell Kit. The Mixed Kit contains now a complete new resin fuselage with clear canopy and decal sheet. A second kit is needed for 5th and 6th engine, plus prop and undercarriage. The lower price is now EURO 49,98 only! In our successfull range of Pilatus PC.6 Turboporter plastic kits, No. Cpi 04 (Blaue Elise, Austrian & Swiss Airforce) is out. But we just reprinted the decal sheet, but now without Swiss airforce markings. With the limited stock of the Swiss Airforce Decalsheet, we made the Special Edition CPi 04B , as long as stocks last. In our successful range of Antonov AN-2 variants, we are planning a new kit. The operator of this AN-2 want to have 220 pieces of a ready-build kit, close to those Easy Model kits. Is any club or individual modeller able and intrested, to build this batch ? The suggested price of the costumer is somewhat low, so the matter should be more intrested for an eastern or asian club or modeller. The aircraft to build is simply white overall. Decal sheets and kits (Italeri / Bilek) we will provide. Any Offer, please !!! |

Due to our participation in two model shows and my hospitalization, publishing of our news information are delayed again. Categorically you can proceed from the fact: all new items offered by any company in our range, will be in stock as soon as they will be shipped out. Next model shows we take part in, will start in March / April 2008 (Antwerp-Hoboken, Oberschleißheim, Lübeck). Exect information we will give right in time. CLASSIC PLANE Mixed Kits/Specials: Partially we change the basic kit of our B-26 Invader Special kits from Airfix to Revell (see actual News info: Firefighter "Lynch Airways"). Our very popular Junkers Ju 390 kit we updated again:: Instead of the resin parts for wing centre section, engines, props, undercarriage, we now add a 2nd complete Revell kit. Only the complete new fuselage is in resin now, plus new decals, clear parts. The price did not change ( 59,98 EUR). Mr. Luedemann became sick again. After his last disease, a part of his kits, we start to produce outside. With his actual sickness , he decided to give away the production also for the more important kits. A very few of his kits he will take out of his range. We have just installed a new heading: We searching for… Under this rubric, in first line we ask for information, photos, to make our new/planned kits and decals as correct as possible. Very often in some modeller´s archives, more rare informations can be found than in internet or any library. Informations, we can use to improve our project, we will honour. |
